Its Aliiiiive!
The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts
Had a serious issue going on at the track and dumped a little over 1/2 quart of oil on the track through the catch can on the 2nd run in the burn box.
Tommy is working on it as we speak and will get me back up and running.
We're talking later after some preliminary tests. I'll post updates.
Quick run down of the day:
My first launch I wanted to come out real easy to see how the Spec twin was going to work with bias ply MTs (Thanks Nick
)Aired to 16psi, did a medium burn out and staged. Came out ~4k rpm and let the clutch out easy as I could and rolled into a granny 1.8x 60'.
I shifted around 6400-6500 and still ripped off a 10.9 at 131 with no seat time on this set up.
2nd launch, I aired down to 14 psi and came out ~4500rpm and cut a 1.6x and spun the nuts off the tires still. Gonna need to go a good bit lower if I'm going to be coming out well over 5k. I'm hoping the Spec twin with the bias plys and a few tweaks is going to be a magic combo. That, or I'm going to blow shet all over the track; we'll see.
Big thanks again to all who helped me out that day. Especially my one man pit crew, Chris (Tercel82)

Initial leak down tests came back within acceptable tolerances.
Going to put a couple hundred miles on her and retest to see if oil blows out at high rpms.
Will be retested in the next day or two to see if some miles will seat everything.
