Im planning on ordering some tires this week and need some advice. Ive read up, but still undecided. Im going to run the stock Z06 fronts (17x9.5) and wanted a good tire that hooks and also fits the rim well. Im kind of down to these:
Can't go wrong with either. I have personally never ran the hoosiers but others have pulled some great short times with them. I have pulled multiple 1.51-1.55 60's with my FRC on the same setup with the ET streets.
Leaning toward hoosier since i think they will fit the 9.5" rim better.. Car makes 41xrwhp on motor and 5xxwhp on spray. Which one has a better wrinkle wall? I have the stock output shaft and want some flex to take the stress off it.

The ET street, its also got more sidewall. The hoosier will be better for gearing for you though as its a shorter sidewall and won't grow on the big end. If something is going to let loose neither of these options are big enough differences to save it.
Thanks for the input. I think im gonna try and run the hoosiers this season and see how they do. Depending on my satisfaction level i might try the et streets next season. Im runnig the radial tire, firestone wide oval 265/4x/17 up front.
Want to get about a 1.8 60ft on motor and crack in the 11's with ~415rwhp ~400rwtq. Then after i get use to the tires and launch ill spray

Best i have cut on ET Streets was a 1.59 60'. Stock clutch/gear. When this set wears out i will probably try the hoosier just to see how i like them. I heard they don't last as long as some of the other DRs. We have put at least 75+ passes on the ET Streets and probably 2000 road miles and they still got quite a few passes left on them. Running 275/40s on Z06 fronts but will be on some front thinspokes for this weekend.
