Anyone headed to Atco tomorrow? I've finally got the car squared away, and put a set of BFGs on the back, and hunting for a 10 second time slip (the car has gone 11.2 @ 133mph).
Only problem is, the BFGs that I have on there dont seem to be all that sticky... could be that I've got 30lbs of air in them who knows.

I wont be there, but try 22-23 lbs. start there and go down if needed... no lower than 18

I wish I had seen this earlier - would have like to have met up and ran a few times today . . . Was going to go yesterday but had some tow vehicle problemo on Friday - not good towing with "NO BRAKES"

Well, it was pretty much deserted. I'd say only 20-30 cars tops out there today. Unfortunately my BRGs were shot to hell, I was spinning and hopping all down the track, even had a track official tell me to either find some tires or go home.
Good news was, I met up with an awesome f-body crew who had a spare set of ET street radials! Popped them on, and the car went 11.2 @ 128.9 mph on a 1.9 60'. I obviously need to work on that launch, but atleast it wasnt a waste of a day.
Only bad news was, that same track official who told me to go find tires then had to tell me to slow the heck down.. (I'm a convertible without a bar).
Oh well, anyone got pics of a vert with a quality bar? I'm really starting to think about it.
Hotwheels, its a shame you couldnt make it out. I think I was the only Vette out there, would have been nice to have some company! Next time I guess..

Thanks guys. I'm running an ecs forged 346, blower cam, w/ headers and tuned by Doug.
Car has gone faster, but I didnt want to press my luck on borrowed tires. That and I got a little talking to by the track official on my 11.2 pass, apparently this year the rule for verts is 11.5 without a bar. Changed from 13.5, but I'm still a bit too fast.
Was hoping for a 10 second slip, but it wasnt in the cards today. I think I need to wait for a rental.
