That first week in NOV I am on the rig. Unless the that changes drastically either side won't be able to

24 July E-Town may go, once everything is installed motor wise (should be done this weekend), it needs to go in to the body shop for some front work, while its apart I want to get rid of the years of frost heave and pothole issues on the front clip that have accumalated (replacing that front cradle piece, the previous owner welded poorly as well).

Hopefully there will be no show stoppers at Cartek (fuel system...wiring issues, you know the stuff you miss or don't think about ). If i shoot for Cartek say wednesday, tune Thursday/Fri I can hang out for the weekend @ Brielle NJ and make the event @ E-Town.

I'm doin a 402 this winter, let us know how you like the trick flow heads. I may just do the l92 with some clean up porting and matching. They flow pretty good stock and seem to do well in the hp/torque range. Nice set up and should be nasty with the spray when your done. Auto or stick?

Max sent me a startup tune (thanks Max!). I did not want to get down to Jersey and have to spend time troubleshooting should it not fire, so I opted to try it out before I trailer the car 400 miles one way.

Car fired right up, had 60 psi on the oil pressure and max coolant temp of 195 after about 15 minutes run time idle to 3000 rpms. No DTC's

Had issues messing with the Vararam Duct, I tried to relocate the MAF in front of the TB, but with the plate, it threw the spacing of the duct off (the arc of the duct is not in the right place). I pulled the plate system off, and will try again when the Vararam intake is fully in place for space out.

One of the Noids got hot, it was getting power from somewhere, when it should not have. I pulled the noids, and will revamp the nitrous system after the car is set up NA (probably single stage dry shot dual nozzle in vararam).

Waiting on the front clip (repair pothole/frost heave damage on bottom)to come back from the body man, then off to Cartek. On track for next week.

LOL having followed some of FP threads, I err to the low side, Max says it will pass 450 easy... Now if its 480 like yours I will kick myself for not getting the FAST combo, for the magical 500 RWHP #. Damn...LOL now I am leaning towards it again before the final tune!

Goals for the car are to run the 11.5 class (w/Hardtop on), and maybe get a 10.9x slip on Spray, while being "wife" drivable on 91 oct fuel.

Default hp

My car had a tci a/4 trans w/3800 stall 373 gears. The car ran 11.6 n/a.It had a big comp cam aswell.I bought a n2o kit right before I sold it but never installed it.If you have a pretty big cam and w/the vette being 500-600 #s lighter you'll be close to 11.0 n/a.I bought it to cure my z06 fever ...but it didn't.I sold it last friday ...looking for a z06 now.
