Default are these numbers low?

ran the 1/8th mile today and was slighty dissapointed with the number i have gotten, my best time was approximatly an hour and a half past the worst one, 6:10pm and the best was ran at 7:51pm, it was a hot one out too. just wanting to know if these seemed low or average.

my worst:

reaction--0.947
60ft--2.197
mph--79.36
et---9.198

my best:

reaction--1.146
60ft--2.158
mph---81.22
et---9.011

well, see the problem we have here is we dont know your mods...

So, if you have 700 RWHP w/ a 4000 stall, 3.73 gears, and slicks, then yes, I'd say that's a bit slow...

But if you have a bone stock 97 auto with 2.73 gears then maybe not so much...

So, com'on... give us a bit more to go on...

No thats elevation.

Your DA Or "denesity altitude" Was 3800 @ 6:50pm

Its a crap DA, For a stock car 9.0 in the 1/8 is "ok" could be better.. your DA wasnt helping you.

I was looking at some old time slips from a test & tune that was a Friday night street car event. One guy I lined up against ran the following.

R/T .1641 (not relevant to performance)
60ft...2.147
mph...79.62
1/8 ET...9.29
1/4...14.388 @ 100.19

So drawing a general comparison between your car and his it must be safe to say that your car is bone stock...correct? Yes your times are on the low side even when considering the poor weather (high DA) conditions. If you want to improve your times, all you need to do is take your car to Atco in November and you'll most likely run a 11.90 @ 121 like the rest of the East coast dudes do. "I just couldn't resist saying that"

Edit; Actually your times (ET) would be considered on the high side...somewhat slower than average...but not that far off for a stock A4 99 vette running in Iowa during a hot mid July day.
