Default Mir update!!!! Look asap!!!

OK.... talked to Jason from MIR. Very nice gentleman to deal with. I called to lock in December 10th and he started with an appology that he will be away in Orlando for P.R.I. Very large vendor gathering. Royce the track prep guru will also not be available that day. He said we would have Brian but he is as Jason put it "GREEN" at performing track prep and if theres a timing tower issue he isnt as apt to taking care of things in a timely manner. Jason was nice and said we could do DECEMBER 17th. FRIDAY. He assured me himself and Royce will be there that day. All I have to do is get a consensus from those interested and confirm with a credit card for the $1430.00 that covers 8 cars and will be $165.00 with a 10 car minimum (keep paypal fee's of 4% in mind) a car at this point. If the price goes down due to a large turnout then there maybe some refund the day of the rental. As always the spectators are free. Preregistration will be a MUST!!!!!

NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN You will be responsible for filling your spot with a car with either drag radials/slicks that day. NO STREET TIRE CARS!

Now I appologize for the change but its almost 2 months away... its on a friday. We'll have the best people running the place best track prep we can get. We just have to do a small prayer for weather in our favor.
Theres nothing I can do to change it so it is what it is. Maybe this gives some the extra time to make **** happen. I know I'll probably need it!!!

I think December 17th is the only option. I'll plan to be there as long as the car is in one piece.

I own a courier company...we deliver stuff. LOTS of stuff in addition to our regular biz that time of year.

I'm talking with Ed about 11/5 right now.

Unfortunately, with it being more difficult so close to Christmas, but given the circumstances it doesn't look like there is an alternative... Are there any earlier dates available that might work? If not, let's just see if we can get enough interest to make it work.

Another thought. We should look at the historical weather data for that week and see if we can get any semi conclusive information on possible weather issues...

P.S... I'm in depending on a few things of course...
1. As long as Mark is in...
2. As long as the car is together...
3. As long as my wife doesn't want to hang me or worse yet, stop giving me any...
4. As long as FartPipe isn't smoking the CrackPipe again...
5. As long as Mark is in...
6. And most importantly, as long as Mark is in...

Why, we can't figure out everything ourselves?
It's a straight forward build, no?

Oh, was that the day that you ran the 9.25?????????????

Cold overnight temps produced track temps below freezing; however, it warmed up to somewhat over 40*F by late morning.
