It's Alive

And thanks also to Andrew and Marc for the hands on help.
The Cam is from ECS. It's their Big NA cam
I had the LS2 heads worked over by D&F Performance. They're a shop near me that's done a lot of engine work for some friends, so I thought I'd give them a shot.
They did a valve job and shaved the heads just to clean them up a bit.
Hopefully off to ECS to have Doug work his magic on the rollers next week.

The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts

I did take it for a quick drive yesterday. I think I'm going to need some stickier tires for the street...

Also, I've had a few PMs asking about the specs of this cam.
I have no idea - nor do I care. Quite frankly, what difference does it make??
My goal is to run 11.50 in the heat of the summer.
And while there are many vendors of cams that will provide this for me, I went with the shop I've used before. They have always treated me nicely. They support this forum so we don't have to pay, and they support the Corvette Challenge in a huge way.
Plus, they're genuinely nice guys.
My ECS big NA cam arrived today...

My heads are off to TEA on friday for milling and massaging. A few more components to pick up then I'll be putting it back together.
Mid 11's in warm weather is my goal too. Mike tells me it should be no problem.

The crew at ECS have been great to deal with and I'm looking forward to some driver education at Englishtown this summer.....

Good luck on the 28th, .....

see you at a t/t soon or corvette wars atco?
