Despite having a 2-3 shift issue @ wot, i decided to make a few passes. My buddy gave me the idea of letting off the throttle just a lil bit at the top of 2nd gear and it shifted into 3rd faster than last time out when it was hitting the limiter. Still slower than if it was fixed lol.
I think it did pretty good considering

Me too LOL, that matches my best sixty foot.
I told Ron over a month ago that the car had 1.52-1.54 sixty foot capability in it, now I'm thinking it might even go a little bit lower (1.50?).
thanks!
Full bolt ons includes- (my mods) Vararam, halltech air bridge, fast 90mm intake and tb, slp UD pulley, Longtubes, off road x pipe, straightpipes, tune, 3400 converter and shift kit, 3.42 gears.
Basically, A bolt on is any external modification that isnt a power adder and doesnt touch engine oil.

next on the to-do list---> get trans fixed so i can stay in it the whole time down the track.
You definitely gave up some precious hundredths (possibly a full tenth) by lifting like that, especially so early in the run. Also, as good as the air was Friday night, we've run in better so the car might have 10.9x potential once it can shift and in just the right conditions, 11.1s (high 11.0s?) at 121mph for sure though IMO.
The bigger problem though is having the freedom to test & tune it, you (all of us for that matter) really need a roll bar/harness.

That is a fact. To date, I have never been lucky enough to hit a track rental in the vette or my truck. Sure would be nice to have a good prepped track and no-one on your back about the 11.5 rule !
