an ls2 TB would be a big help for now

When you have the re tune, ask about the flow rate of the injectors

I agree. I can see losing torque with 3in exhaust and 1 7/8 headers on a 346 but not on a 383. I serious think he got a 346 and should pull the heads and measure the bores if he can't find his lost power.

For a 383 he'd want to measure the stroke.

Instead of a 3.89 bore as found on a 346cid, isn't the bore on a 383 around 3.92?

As far as I know, the stroker kit goes in the stock bore, however I think they do have an oversize kit that is slightly larger in bore size.

382 = 4.000 crank and stock bore 3.900

With stock LS1 intake and TB ....... stock bottom end I make 430... with FAST ported intake and TB I make 458 with Stock 346 bottom end.... with that 383 I would think you should be way north of 450!!!

if you got a new block then you have stock bore........but if your using the old block then I would say its atleast .010 over
