Stock LS1, 678 whp

I purchased this car new in August of '99, and I've been beating the **** out of it ever since. I put the blower on about 5 years ago, drove it at 500whp for about 3 years, and then I met Anthony. The modifications have been happening in rapid succession since then. I'm afraid we've reached the limit of my Vortech super charger, and probably exceeded the limits of my stock bottom end by quite a bit, so this is it, I'll be running this set-up until something lets go. I want to see just how long this motor will stay together.
The car made 336 whp bone stock, so I'm pretty happy Anthony and I were finally able to double that. That's not a "glory pull" graph, that's the tune he turned me loose on the street with, so I wouldn't follow behind me too closely!
Part list includes; my all original stock bottom-end with 142,000 miles on the clock-including rod bolts, stock 799 heads/valves, my original rockers, ARP studs, LS6 cam, LS6 intake, AFR springs, stock LS1 pushrods, Fast Track Performance designed fuel system pushing E85, American racing 1 7/8" headers, 3" X-pipe into stock Z06 Ti mufflers
Special thanks to Anthony Peck at Fast Track Performance in Louisville. He's made my plain-Jane blown C5 into something worth talking about. The Kid knows how to make fast cars, and more importantly, he knows how to make fast cars last!

As I'm sure you already know, the title is a tiny bit misleading though as it's not exactly a "stock LS1" having both a cam and cylinder heads from a later model on it (it is essentially a stock LS6 in a way
)...but it certainly is a stock LS1 bottom end and that is quite impressive. 1000's, it kinda thirsty these days. At 55 psi I think Anthony said the injector duty was at about 90%, but I could be wrong, I was too busy thinking about the consequences of 678whp and a stock bottom end! LOL! gas mileage isn't too bad, it's averaged 15mpg around town over the last 2 weeks and that includes about a dozen Dyno pulls.
And yes, the deceptive thread title was just a headline to attract readers!
