my wifes bone stock conv c5 made three good passes last night at our local track. i put gto spare on the front with mt radials 255 50 16 f body rims. cars is a4 with 273 gears and still went 1.95 60ft with a little tire spin! it ran 8.53 8.52 and 8.48!i am a happy c5 owner!

What year and how did you launch? I have a '98 vert, auto with 3.15 gears, blackwing with smooth bellows, borla x pipe with straight pipes and my best time was 8.70 at 84mph. It was however close to 90 degrees out at the time, not sure how much that played a part. Good times, I'm jealous

not sure what that comes to in 1/4 mile. it was around 75 degrees out the car temp was 194 and it was hot lapped. it went 87mph each pass. i launched the car about 1500 rpm in 1st gear. the car is 2002 conv a4 with 273 gear and no z51

well what made me feel good about it was the other two guys with me went 8.89 and 8.70s. i had been telling them my car spins really bad with stock tires and thinspokes and that proved everything to them!

That's pretty good. I ran 8.483 at 86.27 and my 1/4 time was 13.086. So you are doing very well for a stock convertible.
