Dyno Results of American Racing Header Install and Tune
Car: 1999 C5 Vert -- MN6
Prior Mods: K&N CAI and a Borla Stinger Catback with Borla Xpipe
Unfortunately I do not have any prior dyno numbers, but was told it would have been anywhere in the 280-310 RWHP range.
Installed: ARH 1-3/4 Headers, 3x2-1/2 X Pipe with Cats and 160 Therm
At: East Coast Supercharging
Tuned by: Doug
Dyno: Dynapack Dynamometer
End Result: 348.3 HP / 365.1 lbft (Corrected) It was very hot and humid...with bad thunderstorms right before my car was tuned.
The problem now is the highway drone or resonance from my Borla Stingers. Bad is an understatement! It's so bad I cannot drive the car on the highway. But prior to the headers...they did sound awesome! And they will be for sale in the next coming week or so
Anyway I spoke with Chris at ECS and he has the GHL Bullets on his own vehicle...which I elected to go with as well. Hopefully they'll be installed sometime next week.
I definitely feel a nice improvement in the cars power. Next down the road will be a cam which supposedly will add another 40-55 more HP! Will this ever end????
Ok, enough rambling...here's the charts:

Thanks for sharing your experience, please let us know how you make out with the GHL's. Last year I installed GHL's on my stock 98 that I bought from Chris at ECS. I was planning to install ARH's this year but other things have come up so I'll wait a while. I love the sound of the GHL's but am concerned that they will be too load with headers.

Very nice numbers you got from adding the headers. Should be a good seat of the pants feel with the added power.

Looks about right have you taken it to the strip?

I'll post the differences, etc once they're installed. I don't mind the loudness crusing around town, but my main concern is the highway driving.

Great results brother! I cannot wait to get a tune, but it's expensive. Around where I'm staying it's about $600. How much did you pay for your tune?
Thanks

Nice numbers for sure.
The Stinger is a great system and flows very well, personally I would've left it on there and just dealt with the drone as it's probably not happening at every RPM range (or is it?).
I like the sound of the GHLs as well be will they really quiet it down that much?

The GHL's seem to not have the drone that the Borla's do for whatever reason, but still have the nice sound at WOT.

Here was my cure for the same problem with the Stingers.
