2001 Z06.. LG headers, Corsa Pace car's, VR B2, ported TB (tuned) 377-369 currently ..

Adding G5X2, Ported Polished 243's (milled .59cc) all new upgraded valvetrain, lifters, etc...

considering ported LS6 intake... or vengance Ported FAST 92 /ported LS2 TB.

I'm thinking 420 to 450 @ the wheels ( conservatively speaking)... your thoughts?

Absolutely...depending on what kind of dyno is used, probably closer to that 450 if you go with the ported FAST intake and ported 90mm throttle body.

i ran fast 36lb injectors with just under 440 rw or you could use 30 svo. if your planning more power later mabye the 42 lb svo will save you some expense later. i run the 42svo and spray a little juice once in awhile through a 382. check with your tuner doing work he'll know.

Thanks Paint it Black!! i will probably go with the green tops (42's) as i do plan to spray perhaps a 150 shot down the road... My tuner is the S****!! Former LGM guy..

I am purchasing the Vengance Ported FAST 92 along with a ported LS2 TB this week... already have the LS7 lifters, TSP 7.4 push rods, ported, shimmed LS6 oil pump, Katech timing chain, PRC Valve springs .650. Getting really close!

Stay tuned...

youre going to need a fuel pump for spray most likely. i use a kenne bell bap and a c6zo6 fuel pump in my car as you can use the c6z pump in mid year 2003 and up and have a lingenfelter 2 step to retard timing at wot using the juice instead of having to retune for nitrous and have a window switch to set rpm's for nitrous to turn on and off. i also have a master switch to control all the previous events when using the juice. usually turn the juice on in 1st at 4000rpm and leave on through the gear shifts when running for a pb or 9 sec pass, i have an automatic. when racing in summer heat in 10.5 index race i use the master switch manually and turn on in 3rd gear to hit the 10.5 number. think youll probably be needing a pump

Stock fuel system will support up to about 500whp N/A. But definately not a bad idea to upgrade the injectors noneheless.

Just my h/c dyno'd with a fast 90/92mm and full bolt ons and 410s. Car made 464/408. You should be Around that, maybe higher with milled heads.

check ptv with 59cc heads and a cam that big. I run 59cc tfs heads and barely clears with a 228-232 cam.

Numbers. With LS6 intake 437/391 SAE
with fast setup 455/402 SAE

This is cause i have no clue on the porting of the heads. Tea or WCCH heads maybe a little higher.

You also have tfs 215 heads and a whiplash2 which is huge!. Not quite the same I think it will be hard for him to hit your numbers. Even though you have 4:10's. But it will be a strong setup for sure. I would deff check on milling that far and PTV as i really don't think it will clear. Unless you dont mind flycutting.

Thanks guy's... I was told by my builder (former LGM guy) that i would have to flycut with the G5X3 which is what i was going with.. He said the X2 will be fine.. I cannot WAIT to get my car back! Thanks for all of the feedback. I'll report back when i get the car.

With 59cc 243 heads I dont believe that it will be ok. Please check anyway. I have a much smaller cam with heads that have more clearance and I was just below normal minimum clearance on the intake side.

I'm interested to see what you make. I'm waiting to get my car back from the tuner any day. Car is an 02 Z06 with a vararam, Mamo ported Fast92/90 setup with catless LGpro's and a G5X3 kit on 114 and UD pulley.

Oh1Z06: email me at sami7241969@yahoo.com, i do not want to delete some messages in my pm box for few more days.

Well with my TSP V2 cam and 243 Livernois ported stage 3 heads 59cc, PTVC on intake was .61 which is very close, on exhaust no problem plenty of room there, so you might have to flycut only on intake side.

Katech chian is good choice i went with same no problem, i would also suggest after you install new oil pump with new blue O-ring, you can take off 6 front oil pump bolts and with good light you can see some part of O-ring, to make sure you have not pinched, and install 6 oil pump cover bolts in clockwise sequence i believe those are 22 ft lbs torque.

Either way i would consider LG G5X2 cam on a 114 LSa and i believe thier cams are 4 deg advanced gorund on it so its very good. No matter how good is the tuner, the car will lug under <1000 rpm so if you in heavy traffic that annoys you. Between 5X2 and 5X3 how much power difference? i would say 5 may be.

Iam sure you need clutch after this so right off the bat go with ACT twin disk clutch, i went Centerforce 12" DFX with thier steel billet FW, man that clutch works and grab like mother iffer however very heavy infact 3 lbs heavier than LS7 clutch, and expect 25% clutch pedal stiffer than LS6. So go with Twin disk or atleast Fidanza AL FW with steel insert. I did my own install on jack stand and at the same time setup 4.10 gears as well along with C6 both half shafts, and HD preoload springs W/carbon clutch pack...came out super nice, no whining sound.

But i wont consider 4.10 may be 3.90 or 3.73 with M122 tranny, mine at 80 mph is 2500 rpm and i think that is quite a bit and my gas mileage took a dump.

I dont dyno my cars so i would say 425 Rwhp-445 Rwhp in your case.
Go with 30 lbs if going with wet Kit, 42 lbs if you going with Dry kit, either way upgrade the FP by racetronix though.
GL on this project.
