Default Dyno numbers 03 Z06, CAI, ARH, tune.

Posting up the numbers for my Dad, he made 368hp, 354tq with ARH 1 3/4 headers with cats, Halltech intake and a ECS mail order tune, funny thing is the car made 362hp, 351tq a few years ago with just the Halltech and an ECS mail order tune, the car was ran on the same dyno, I figured the car would have picked up more with headers and a retune AFR looked good, any thoughts?

A stock Z usually dyno's around 345-355, 368 is a bit low, but in the window. Depends where the car started at, I have had them as low as 330 on our dyno. Your mods will generally add 25-30 rwhp, so if you started at 340 your not that far off.

I'll be happy to take a look at it though if you would like to take a drive here.

I am in the same boat as you. My '03 put down 369/360 with just full exhaust and tune. Hopefully it will do better with a new CAI and the bigger injectors.

I don't put much stock in dyno number, it's my dads car and was like WTF, that felt like a waste of money.

Thanks Doug, I'll let him know.

The numbers the car made the first time it went to the Dyno were pretty good.

Bone stock 352 hp 339 tq
Cai and tune 362 hp 351 tq
Cai headers and retune 368 hp 354 tq

Shouldn't need bigger injectors unless they are showing over 85% I think the percentage is. I thought a stock motor is usually in the 50% area..someone correct me if i am wrong
