Seems like that was a huge waste of money for you then just to pick up 8/8...
Word to what the other two above my post said.
I could've done everything at once I guess but it really isn't costing me much more to do it this way. In fact its allowed me to pick up a used fast, used ported ls2 tb and other stuff.
This is also why I went backwards with doing heads instead of a cam first. I just wanted people to see what it would do for their cars since there isn't a lot of data on doing it this way.
I was going to not do headers until after the cam but Im going to go ahead and replace my shorties with some LTs and see what it does.
I just replaced my 75mm MAF with an 85. Havent taken it out yet but I need to get the new maf tables loaded.
I won't be dynoing this one mod but from 3 other threads I found on less modded LS1s the bigger MAF gained 4rwhp on all of them.
Reading error on my part, For some reason I though you had a cam already... My bad...
No problem buddy, I bet my 226/230 cam will put me over 450 easy. After the LTs of course.
If I were to do it over again I would've spent the extra $200 for the ported LS6 heads instead of the 5.3 just for that extra 10rwhp that they seem to do over the 5.3

Ya you should have no problem, I want to do the MS4 or the T-Rex Cam... Its go big or go home
