Default Thanks RPT

Had Brian at Reckart Performace Tuning install and tuned a new cam in my 02 z06. He has done 2 other cams in my car an has always done a great job. The car has tpis longtubes, stage one ported ls6 heads and a ported fast 90. The first cam I had in was a ms3 that put down 468/414. Next was a whiplash II that made 469/404. The cam picked and installed this last week, not sure of the specs, made 490/446. All three setups performed great! Thanks Brian for all your help and knowledge.

Was it a larger or smaller cam? What was the weather like for each dyno?

It was a smaller cam, pretty sure 240 duration area. I also added the new halltech killer bee II intake at the same time. I'm not really sure about the weather but the numbers are corrected so it shouldn't make that much of a difference. All the tuning was on the same dyno.

Something wasn't right with the Whiplash setup, 280rwtq @ 3300rpms, WTF!

I would think those numbers are right along the lines of maybe 470/426 on a dynojet

Vararam isnt a dyno friendly intake. There are several intakes on the market that will outpower vararam on the dyno however wherr the vararam lacks on the dyno it makes up for it at the track. What were your old track times with the vararam? Any new track times yet with the killer bee 2? At least 15rwhp and 25tq came from that killer bee. Draw through vs ram air
