Default Same Z new tricks

Figured I would start a new thread since I kind of hijacked the former owner of my Z's (PRAY) 4 year old one.
Old news... Car went 10.4x NA last month.. Sprayed down the track with oil and thought the worst since oil was blowing out my exhaust.
Well... Got the Z back from Horsepower Sales of Florida (Pompano Beach) all fixed up !! The problem ended up being as simple as a bad PVC system. Wow, what a relief. Had some pulls on their Mustang dyno... Well over 500 whp and over 500 whp torque NA. That's all I will say on that. The little 416 sings.
Want to thank the guys working on my Z, Roger and Jeremy. I' m a stressful, hyper kind of guy, so they had to do a little more than work on the car Lol
The new... 4:10's.
Let's see if I can get the Z in the 9's NA June 16th

Living in Honduras and trying to reasure myself that the Z was in good hands was a chore for me. JoeG suggested Horsepower Sales. In the end... Free beach home for a week on me for you Joe.

Let's just say the track was super slippery.
Best 10.70 worst 13.00 average 11.40
The 10.70 was on a 1.52 60' hit second and spun throughout second and third.
All other 60's were 2.0 and 2.2's
Car felt super strong in 4th though.. Oh well

Hell, I saw one vid that Pray ran, where that car got loose at the top of 3rd gear. You will have to learn to launch that monster all over again with more gear.

I learn quick so the launches will come once I have a track that's prepped. Everyone was slipping and sliding even my friends auto SS Camsro with 340whp on 315 drag radials.
I'll wait for cooler weather and a well prepped track in the fall.

Glad to see it was something simple and the monster lives. Did you get the FAST on? Send me a PM on what it did on their MD. The guy there was going to call me with results after I called him about all the tuning stuff. It is funny how the little things can cause you the biggest heart attacks. Good luck and you will get it.

I think I would have got the 9 sec pass in that car if it didn't spin at the 8th on the shift to 4th with the 3.42's. I wish I would have done 4.10's. Chris, I am glad you ended up with the car. You have done a great job with it. It couldn't have gone to a better home.

The Fast 102 and 102 TB along with a vacuum pump will be going on before the NJ trip in November.

Hit my goal of a 9.6....... then I can give the Z a 200 shot

Chris, I'm just glad to make a recommendation for a new found friend that panned out. HPS has never let me nor any of my friends down.

I'm JONESING to get out to the track, but this rain has been a bummer. Next Challenge is in September but I want to get out before then. Hope to see you out there.
