Default Nitrous controller / window switch

What is the best in regards to reliability and ease of use?

I'm not having much success with the Microedge, thinking about replacing with a Zex..

Looks pretty simple to me

My Lingenfelter LNC-002 2-step/timing retard module seems to have taken a dump yesterday, how are they with backing up their products?

Harris seems to be UN-reachable (hiding) ...

Thats a good question........and I'm not sure. Typically electronics are not returnable but it never hurts to ask. I would like to hear what they say about that....is it new ??

Thanks............

I'll have to contact them.... but usually electronics IS covered under a warranty, one year is normal when I purchase things for the fleet use.

Things like this are under no abuse at all in my opinion. I can't tell you the last time my vehicle was left outside for the night, much less exposed to any harsh environments other then the normal heat of an engine compartment.

If that is a reason not to cover it I'd be surprised. There's plenty of OEM electronics in the car that is still operating flawlessly after 14 years in my case....

In talking to people at the track yesterday, these Lingenfelter LNC-002 2-step/timing retard modules and the MSD ones (as well), seem to work or not work. One person said he is constantly hearing people say that the nitrous didn't work for one reason or another and most of the time it seems to be just poor quality in the product. This Lingenfelter LNC-2000 2-step/timing retard module for example worked fine two weeks ago and we changed NOTHING and it just decided to take a ****! Costing me another lost day in points racing....

These people must think we have the backing of Al-Anabi Racing or something when in reality I'm operating on the matchbox racing budget and expect things to work the first time, all the time!

Spoke to Lingenfelter just a little while ago and explained to the service / sales department what was going on. They normally do not cover electronics that have been installed for the reason that it could have been hit with stray voltage, etc..

My LNC-002 was purchased a while ago ... I'm not sure if it was new or used at the time, I didn't installed it last year and 1/2 way through this year we decided to install the NANO system. Then with the "other" issues we had with the Nitrous install, (my purge solenoid was bad) etc ... It finally worked two weeks ago but not this past weekend.

They were very cooperative and a pleasure to deal with! They ended up giving me a deal on the LNC-2000 that I couldn't refuse!

I'll most likely just go with the Zex window switch...
