Hey so I know a dyno is used for tuning and it's just a number, but I was really impressed with what my car put down at a local dyno day here. It's been on a couple different dyno's before and the guys running it told me it reads very low, about 18% lower than dynojet they said. Told them my mods and they estimated 430rwhp or so..
To both of our surprise 518rwhp...they calculated what it would have made on dynojet according to the difference they have seen at other local shops that run dynojet..over 600rwhp??? this can't be...what gives?
The weather was very cool the other day but it still doesn't seem possible for me to be that high on dynojet. Any thoughts?
2 other dyno's at different times read 460rwhp and 510rwhp
Yea that would probably help!...ls2 based 402 stroker, TEA stage 2.5 ls6 heads, comp cam 237/242 609 113lsa, fast 90/90, and some other mods of course. Told there was room inthe tune to squeeze out more power and most similar set ups I've seen dyno over 500. Hope that helps
