Mike Tiedemann is the owner of this beautiful 2003 Z06. He is also the owner of MCP Competition Engines who has built motors for some of the fastest Vettes that have hit the strip and street. MCP is also located in house here at the shop. Mike will admit that his driving skills are not on the level of Ranger, GARY2004Z06 or Robz; however, his head porting and engine building capabilities are second to none. With his limited track experience, Mike was able to knock out a 10.97@126mph pass the first time out with absolutely NO WEIGHT REDUCTION and just mounting a set of drag radials. This very mild H/C setup produces excellent power without sacrificing any driveability. This setup has awesome street manners with just a slight twitch at idle hinting at the power under the hood. The Vette drives like a stock car and cruising around is silent just like stock. Both Mike and his wife enjoy driving the car, he says after teaching his wife to drive a stick twice in a cobalt he put her into the Vette which she drove flawlessly. My car idles just as mellow, is a tenth away from the tens and gives up a couple of mph due to the A4. I believe I'll have my ten this year.
I drive mine daily in the summer. Being a coupe with no weight reduction either, it's a bit heavier yet.
BTW....my winter daily driver is a Cobalt SS/SC.....

Personally, I love the sneaky mellow cars like these that people just don't expect to run the way they do!
