Default Burning oil

I have a 2003 50 anniversary and I run mobile 1 full synthetic oil and I drive it like a vette needs to be driven. It's burning about one quart every 4000 miles. Is anyone else having this problem and should I b concerned??

I quart every 4k miles is NOT a problem, especially if you drive the car hard. If it was using a quart every 1000/1500 miles I would be concerned. Just drive the wheels off it and change the oil every 4k miles,,,,,problem solved!

Do you have a catch can installed on your PCV system? I'd be willing to bet that the oil you are consuming is caused hy "blow-by" (oil that is taken from the crankcase to your intake via the PCV system). When the oil gets into your intake it is burned as it goes into your combustion chambers. This is a common problem with the LS motors
