My buddy told me about this on the phone today and I looked it up. Boy, what a nice piece! We run Stock Eliminator which is exactly what this was designed for. Slate's car (if you look on the web site) leaves hard with it. I'm considering going that route eventually and putting a Jerico behind the LS1 (literally behind) as soon as I find $10K+ sitting around somewhere. I'd have to say it's more than we could bite off it our 2-garage and would take a reputable chassis shop to install and make sure everything was square and true and solid. Yes, there are many IRS cars running very quick but that 12-bolt set-up sure is sexy!!!
Also, I would think putting a traditional manual transmission behind the engine would be easier due to size than an automatic. I'm guessing the tunnel would have to be extensively modified with an auto due to the size of the case. Something like a Jerico would be more narrow and maybe easier to install.

It would be all the same to me only diff just a bigger cut in the floor with a auto, then to fix it back.
