Default Decent air

So I got this cell phone...and this DA app which tells me the DA at the airport. Which actually isn't all that far from the track.

I have been watching the numbers daily, and as I've said in the past, typical for us is 1500-2000ft. And so it is! I saw 2500 ft once. Also saw 300ft, but it was 5 in the morning....and by 9 it was right back at 1800ft.

So today, it said 800ft. Sky's clearing, baro going up!
Headed to the track.

The car liked it. Ran a string of 11.20's and nudged 122 mph. DA was 6-700 ft all evening. Track was good. Ron's tune...well we don't need to talk about that.
Air temp 67-70. There were a grand total of 10 cars making hits....so they closed 2 hours early.....and missed the best air.

Oh well.

Ron

Good air for your area for sure. What was the barometer and humidity readings ? Good air for us, we see 30.2-30.4 with 40% humidity. I think we had 30.5 at MIR.

Hey Guys,
We're here at the LS Fest in Bowling Green and I WISH we had good air!
DA got well above 3500' yesterday and today looks like more of the same. Well, at least my car is consistent,,,,,,,,consistently slow!
Holley puts on a great event here and this years is the biggest one so far. There are a bunch of very fast LS powered cars here with plenty of 8 second rides a few 7 second and six second cars too. WIsh you coould have made it Pitt.

Glad to see I'm not the only one who checks DA throughout the day when even when I'm not racing ... and then get anxious when I see a killer number!

Yes, I figured as much. How is the new project progressing? I know nothing about turbos but they fascinate me and from all that I read make BIG power! You'll have to post pictures as you work through it.
