You do know your stuff don't ya... lol....

That is exactly what my builder asked me.... I "opted" for something that I can drive on a long trip if I wanted to.... He recommended a cam for me... lets just say it is a decent sized stick... the lift is .624/.624.... I can pm you the specs if you like... My builder has asked that I not broadcast this build as he is a friend, works for a local shop (Dallas area) and will not duplicate for anyone...

It will be a beast on both street and strip should I decide to run it....

The Avatar is a 402 stroker I put in my Silverado. Texas Speed LS2 short block, then added AFR 225 heads and Fast 92mm all ported and port matched by Pete Incaudo. He picked the cam for me also because I was afraid to go too much for a daily driver. It is basically a 232/598 on a 113 +2 lsa. Very mild but runs really strong NA.
The heavy "Black Brick" has run a best of 11.14 @ 120 mph. I love that truck.

Truck Idle vid: http://s895.photobucket.com/user/Pit...37799.mp4.html

I have a 383 Stroker in my 2003 ZO6. It has an Eagle Kit with the same AFR225 heads and a Fast 90. Cam is from Pete also, basically a 232/617 on a 113+2 lsa. Nothing special done to the motor at all, fresh out of the box stuff. Best ET has been 10.66 and best mph has been 131+, NA.
Obviously from the mph and only a 10.66, I am not a great driver..lol

Vette idle vid: A little more radical than the truck

A friend on this forum, Jimbo, has a 416 in his Z. Pete Incaudo did his heads and Fast as well plus a little more cam. He has dyno numbers around 540/500 tq. He say's it still gets 25mpg on the road. He drives it a lot when weather permits. Being in Colorado, lots of ice and snow.

Pit, those are awesome FUN builds.... How can anyone not love a C5Z that can run 10's on the strip and get 25mpg on the highway... My other car is a 2000 Firehawk... It too is running ported heads, one of Arun's custom cams 230/236 113+3 (Davilla Motorsports/Canada) Fast 92, Yank SS3600... It's a fun car... Ironically I have a couple up in Nava Scotia that is supposed to be sending me $$ to hold it til April.... So they can drive it home when it thaws...

I'll keep you abreast of my build and post the numbers once dyno'd... Initially they will throw a "base" tune on it til I run a tank of fuel through it... then they will chassis dyno, street tune it to perfection.

Thanks... I am selling it to an older couple up in Nova Scotia... Sending me a deposit (retainer) this week... Then flying in to DFW in April to drive it home.... They have a collection and wanted to add this one to it.... It's a quick little bird to @ 434/401 to the wheels...

My Z06 "should" be done by next weekend.... Granted, there will be only a base tune in it for about 500 or so miles.... I'll let you know the final numbers once broken in properly...
