Default Help Slicks sizing!

Guys,

Am using OEM F-body 16" wheels on my C5.
Am looking at MT's, Hoosiers or M&H slicks.
But need your recommendation for the right/correct size that will fit on these wheels.

Do the 16" wheels fit over the rear brakes and spindles? I'm not familiar with these wheels but know when we put our 16" Bogarts on we have to get the LG drag spindles.

Assuming they'll fit (with some grinding on the ball joints) you may need to tell us a little more about your combination. Gear? Mods? If it's a stock Z06 with the 3.42 you'll find most guys like the 26" slick and make sure it's a bias ply because of the 6-speed. I personally like the 28" tire as IMHO it hooks better. You may have to remove the rear inner fender. Brand is up to you but I've always had good luck with Hoosiers. All will wear differently and require different amounts of burnout and heat to get them to hook.

Also besides tire height use the skinniest tire that will hold your power

True, I have gone through some grinding stuff to fit these wheels. And they do.
Now waiting to decide on the tire.
