I am looking for a front splitter or spoiler. Want more downforce since the front end don't stick as well as I want. Want good performance and still allow car to cool. Anyone have any ideas?

Not a great pic, but this is the ACI ASF700. No cooling issues, but I cannot comment on down force produced. Probably need to contact ACI for that information.

I have an aftermarket front fascia and separate lip and I would say that it most likely doesn't really contribute to actual front downforce. For measurable downforce, You would need a massive lip that sticks out too far from the bumper to be usable on a street car. You'd probably also want canards as well. Not a great solution for a non-race car.

Now, I can't say this for sure because I got this car with the aftermarket stuff already on it and I've never driven a stock C5Z, but with my limited road course knowledge/research and my experience with my other car (2004 CTS-V), I can say that a vented hood (sometimes called a heat extractor) will allow most of the air that stacks up under the hood to flow out, thereby creating negative lift.

If you are truly looking for front-end downforce, a vented hood is absolutely the way to go on a street car. In my CTS-V, I installed a Specter Werkes Heat Extractor hood, and the amount of aero grip increased DRAMATICALLY over the stock non-vented hood at speeds over 100 mph. You can literally feel the car sucking down to the road the faster you go.

Likewise, I've just ordered a vented hood for my Z06 and I expect the front end planted feeling to be a night and day difference over stock. I've recently had my car (as it currently sits with stock hood) up to 170 mph and it got very light on the front, not a great feeling.

Note: this pic isn't my car, but is the hood that I have ordered.
