Default low numbers?

so ive been looking around and i feel like my numbers are kinda low for my mods, heres a list:

stock bottom end
hand ported 853 heads with comp dual springs
234/240 .641/.649 112 cam
fast 102
ported 90mm tb
tsp coated LT 2.5 x pipe stock ti
vararam b2 and bridge

built t56 31 spline main shaft
mcleod rxt clutch
3.90 rear gears

car made 419/399 on a dyno jet
12.5-12.8 afrs under wot
28* timing

looking around at other cam only cars im seeing people make much more power. i think my heads are my big flaw but im not sure.

Its really not that far off......most true "cam only" street car LS1's make 420-440rwhp. Depending on the supporting mods.
Your gear does not help your dyno numbers and you total timing seems low, if your talking the true total and not peak tq.

There is more power on the table but the deeper down the rabbit hole you go (N/A) the more it will effect the overall streetability or DD manners.

You didn't mention what the cam centerlines where ground on but....just running rough numbers, it puts your IVC in the 48* range. Meaning, that thing should like to rev.....and imo thats a mismatch with your valvetrain and head setup., if thats even the case.

A dyno graph would help understand the power. Not so much the numbers but more the shape of the curve and where it comes in and falls off.

Good luck with your combo.....

When your looking for max effort stuff results. You can't buy sub par parts. The TSP headers vs LG's or ARH are pretty different.....in price and results. That's just one example but it holds true to all supporting mods.
All parts are not created equal.....

That is a big camshaft and will want to go to 7200. If it is falling off at 6500, then you have a valvtrain instability problem. Either weak or improperly set up valvesprings and/or insufficient push rods (too thin/deflecting). IE your valves are not seeing what the camshaft is doing.
Also that intake can feed another hundred more horsepower. Usually LS6 will feed to 430 range and Fast 92 is good to around 465.
