pitt - do you still have a 382?

info: The stock cube LS6 ended up putting 1 hp more then my 382 ... go figure they were .03 second difference with track slips not too surprised to find almost identical numbers on rollers.

I may have pulled a bit more from the 346 if I didn't have high flow cats on and switch to my straight 3" X-pipe - the 382 ran with no cats...

That's crazy...just the right combination. Sounds like you have a screamer

I sold my 383 and now have a new 418 with big bore AFR225 heads. I haven't got it to the track yet,,a big black cloud stalking me lately. Just got my new diff in tonight and hope to finish it off tomorrow.
We are doing MIR Nov 20.

That's how I mounted mine too.
You can buy the belts in different sizes from a machine shop for around $8 and they will never wear out.

no, all of my low 10 second passes are N/A with a stock bottom LS6. I expect to run 9.5X's with a 100 shot of nitrous. Maybe only do it a few times. The NANO system was put in because I built this car to specifically run the 10.50 index at E-Town a few years back and in the heat of summer, it was assumed I might need a 50 shot in second gear to get here. I've only sprayed in second once and picked up over a 1/2 second. This car loves the juice but I'm not quite ready to feed it it's hard on parts...

a few slips from today - N/A

Why is the DA so high at Atco? That's sea level down there. Should be in the negatives at times. Maybe try Island. DA is 450 on a good day.

I am running 373's - (a lot of info in my sig)

I'm not convinced that we have the same HP. My 435 was on a Mustang Dyno and yours may be on another type. Typically, a Mustang will read 10 - 15% lower than the others. That is the reason they call Mustangs "stingy" with the numbers. With good air and some shift point tuning, I'm hoping to better my personal best of 10.22. I'm shooting for a 10 "teen"
Thank you Stroker87 for the kind words.
The car was purpose built to run the 10.50 index at the corvette challenge and my goal was to do it N/A except for maybe using a small shot in the summer months heat.

Currently my shift points are at 6,800. Wish I had my tuner yesterday to see where power in the curve is and adjust accordingly.

my car was on a dynojet, but the local shop is known for it being a stingy dyno

i only got 16 passes on my car, last time out I was not able to shift at 6800 so i was shifting at 6500 since i adjusted my clutch so now i can shift higher, i also found out my fast intake has a crack on the bottom causing a lean condition so it was repaired. with that all worked out and the front runner i'm sure i can run better plus more seat time but still dont think i can crack a mid 10 pass (be nice though) lol

Best of luck, you know I'm rooting for you! Please post your times in the C5 sticky

I cracked into the 10's N/A a half dozen years ago, going 10.76 with 414 rwhp (mustang dyno) at MIR ... with the OEM motor. Now have an 02 motor.

i'm #19 on the z06 int/external bolt'on list out of 35 but i guess its ok for a mild cam daily i have a nitrous kit going on for next summer going to start with a 100 shot see if that keeps me in front of a couple 6c zr1's my friends have lol

you kinda set a bench mark for me, i really have to work on my skills and get this car dialed in better and see what i can get out of it!

thanks for the info, good luck to you!

Yeah Rob, you really have it dialed in.

Got mine home today with the new diff. Now I need some tuning help from RonssNova. He is dang good. He said my Maff is not scaled in properly.

By the way, he ran a 9.2 today @ 146mph...119mph in the 1/8 with his old school Nova...and his buddies were laughing at him for running a 5.3 with Turbo and only hitting low 11's first time out, It's all in the tuning ...lol
