It is but the F2 took a dump on Saturday in Indiana last month. Put an F1X on the car for Sunday and I ran my fastest with a 182 mph. Will be sticking with the F1X. Much better suited for my setup and obviously much better speeds. Texas the car was strong both days. Still cog driven . Bearings went bad in the F2.
Can we update Norm McClung on the list to 191mph? He posted his slip a few replies above.... Also Eddie Blackwell went 186.77 in Texas naturally aspirated with his new VR 451 LSX....

What size Tire/ wheel setup are you running and how do they feel at those speeds, assuming they are 15" rims?
well done neil!! I can't thank you enough for all the support you've given us throughout the years. I love how reliable that thing has been, aside from upgrading to a better clutch you really can't beat it.

Here is my new best from the Wanna Go Fast event this weekend in Ocala. Weather was nice but traction on the runway was far from good... I ended up having tranny slip causing the shift from to 3rd to bounce off the rev limiter a few times on this run. After this run it was slipping beyond and I was done for the weekend...
Half mile event this past weekend. This is true half mile, 93 degree air, not prepped unlike some of the others we have been seeing. Car is our shop car. 6.2l lsa block, Ls9 crank, rods, Wiseco pistons that are gas ported, 11:2 compression, ported Ls9 heads, Novi 2200r, ls3 intake manifold, manual transmission. Car is a coupe as well 1165 rwhp 1005 rwtq.
