Well I have an 03 Z that is cammed with some other performance additions. It made 432/417 rwhp on a dynojet. It is a stock clutch, driveline, and everything else car. I ran it on the OEM 18's with Mickey Thompson ET streets 305/35/18. The DA was 2800 and the ambient air temperature was in the low 80's.

I know there is more left in the car, but I got
Reaction .2072
60 ft 1.7996
330 ft 5.1846
1/8 7.9140
mph 91.54

I need some more practice to get the 60 ft down, it bogged on the line and I was launching at ~3200 rpm

Wow I didn't realize you had a 1.79 60' but the car moved out for sure. IMO the 60' could be some better, however I believe the half track 5.1 time is where the improvement lies...so when you gonna let me borrow your tires lol.

That's a respectable reaction time and 60'. What tire pressure? How long did you burn out? Stage deep or shallow?

I did about a 2 second burnout I guess..It was definitely no pro-mod burnout. I staged as shallow as I could. On that pass I had lowered the air pressure to 20 psi and the tires were hot. I know I can run faster than that, but I have a few limiting factors that I need to address first. Mainly the stock clutch and hydraulics is giving me some issues now after the 4 passes at the track.

Hmmm... might be the DA but the mph seems a bit low for the power you are making. I pulled a couple slips from my '01 which is a LT, x pipe, vararam, tune car, and ironically I have two back to back passes that ran your exact mph (91.54), and the ET's were 7.862, and 7.876.

The DA was 1997, 60 foot times were 1.822 and 1.865 on Nitto DR's, and the car made 382/379

It is close enough that I feel the DA could be the factor here (possibly getting some slip from that stock clutch), but I'd think on a clean pass in good air, you'd see some 93+mph passes in the 1/8th. Nice 60' by the way

The DA was pretty rough that night. I will be replacing the clutch soon along with a rebuilt/upgraded trans. I toasted the trans on my last pass and it requires a rebuild. Got to pay to play. I will go again and see what I can get when it cools off a little and get a proper clutch in the car and check the difference.

And maybe just maybe the car won't "bog" off the line like it did when it went 1.79 60 ft. If it didn't "bog" I bet it would have been a 1.5.
