Default H/C/I Number estimates?

Well Wednesday night I got my heads/cam/intake project back together and started so now I've been in touch with Pat G for getting it tuned.

Below are the list of modifications on the car, I'm thinking between 450-460 WHP and 400 lb-ft. What are y'alls on what sort of HP & torque numbers I should expect?

Tick SNS Stage III Standard lobes - 235/243 .630/.610 111+2
TEA Stage II head work
FAST 92 Intake manifold
LS2 throttle body
42lb/hr injectors
LT headers
Vararam intake

I think you will hit your goal if you milled the heads and brought compression up but either way it looks like a good build!

I see a lot of people running those btr cams now, it will be interesting to see what it makes

That's a stout cam. I'm sure you will be close as well.

I had TEA mill the heads enough to clean them up, was .002-.003" or so for the sake of maintaining PTV clearance with the duration on this cam. With the GM MLS head gasket I ended up with .122" intake and .135" exhaust for PTV clearance. I could've gotten away with milling the heads a bit but I'll give up a bit of power for extra PTV clearance and peace of mind.

I have a similar build going currently. Tooley and I decided on a slightly different cam choice though. I'm going to run a fast 102 as well.

Good luck on your goals!

Thank you! Any fitment issues with the 102 on your C5?

I have yet to install it. I still need to pull the cam out and such. I will let you know.

So I would suggest installing the hinson 3/8" shorter engine mounts with the 102.

I have mine installed now without them, they are in a box in my garage currently. The intake does rub on the cowl, some of the paint is actually worn off the intake now. It is a very tight fit, but it does fit.

If you don't have a different steam vent kit, you can use the factory front tube, but it will need "bent" down. I took a 6" 3/8 extension with a very round end on it, and gently tapped down all across the tube in the front.

Also, I would suggest buying an ls3 map sensor and the extension harness for it. Then you will use the map sensor location on the front top of the manifold. Easier to work with than the factory rear location.

I don't know what fuel rail setup you planned on, but for a factory look, I am running stock ls3/ls7 injectors, an ls2/ls3 fuel rail, and the FAST injector spacers. Clearance is perfect with this setup and is more than you will need.

I'm not logging currently. I don't think it is interfering enough to cause any noise.

Also, where did you run your fuel lines? Down the tunnel? Or through the rocker panel?

Well, till we wait for your results tomorrow. Mine ended up putting down 450/400. Wish I would have had the heads milled a bit to bump the compression, but overall it runs great and has a very smooth powerband..

Good luck tomorrow!!
