I went to a track rental this past Sunday for some testing and ended up tangling with a modified Hellcat Charger. I wasn't aware how quick these cars could be with some mods.

I was working on the launch and wasn't trying to cut a light so it was a 0.2s deficit from the start. Both cars cut a 1.60 60 foot. From there, it was a race to the finish with me chasing him down right at the end. Margin of victory was 0.008.

Here's a quick pic of the vette. It made a 120 mile roundtrip and clicked off a few 9 second passes with a 6-speed trans.

If you like driving a couch... I had a buddy one time that was thinking about buying a busa with a big bore kit on it. He brought it back after the test ride and said it felt like he was on a giant couch. He didn't want to ride a couch.

My buddy had a turbo busa and it did look a lot more comfortable than my R1. Those were the good old days. 😎💰
