New track times..... so close to 11s
Hey everyone i wanted to share my results of the opening day of our track here Famoso raceway in mcfarland, CA (bakersfield)
first two passes of the day were 12.1s @ 115
here is my best pass of the day.
backed it up with two more passes 12.07 and 12.09 @116.
just need to drop my 60' and 11s are there.
heres my mods
stock 250,000 mile ls1
ls6 intake
vararam with power duct
lg 1 3/4 longtubes no cats
exhaust bypass mod
dyno tune 353/355
diamond stage 2 clutch
TDP stage 2 rebuilt mn6
stock 3.42 gears
slicks and skinnies
THATS IT!

What rpm is your redline set at and what rpm are you shifting at? Impressive time

just trying to be safe I guess. The car had 240k miles when all that was done.
Car now has a BTR stage 4 so will be a whole new tune when I get it going again.
Looking back now it would have been nice to crack 11.99 if I went to 6500, oh well.

can you even safely spin an LS1 to 6500rpm without upgraded valve springs?
