2003 Z06 RHS 454 Dyno results on 93 and E85
I had some time after work today to get my car back on the dyno and play with the tune now that I have it on E85. I have swapped to an LS2 90mm throttle body from the NW102 that was on the car just because of the REP issues I was having once in a while, so that may have cost me a small bit of power, but I am more than happy with what it made for just being N/A.
A little background on the car. I purchased this car about 4 months ago from the guy that does the paint work for the shop I work for. It needed a little love to get it back to 100%, and I was up for a little project. His friend owned the car and passed away while the car was being built a few years back, so he bought the car from the family and had it finished, but he doesn't know exactly the whole build list of what went into it. I am in the process of getting in touch with the local shop that built it to get a better understanding of what components were used.
What I do know it has:
RHS 454 block
Trickflow heads (not sure what specs so not very helpful)
Comp cam (not sure what grind...again not helpful)
Fast 102
American Racing 1 7/8" headers to 3" exhaust to stock mufflers with cutouts
LS2 Throttle Body
60# injectors
A while back I had it on the dyno on 93 with the NW102 and passing through the stock mufflers. I leaned on it a bit and it ended up at 565whp/518wtq. I dialed it back slightly since it was on shitty pump gas and drove it around at 553whp. Today it was on the 90mm throttle body and on E85, still going through the mufflers it made 574whp/522wtq. I have the graphs of both 93 tunes compared to that E85 graph below.
I then opened the cutouts and did another pull which resulted in 604whp/552wtq
Here are the 3 graphs overlaid
In the next month or so I am planning to hook up my nitrous setup and get it back on the dyno with a small shot...probably 100 or so. That will hold me over until I put on my TTiX kit that is sitting in my living room
Thanks for looking!
