Hello All!
I have a 1998 C5 w/ a fully forged 408. 11.5 CR, head studs, etc. Custom cam spec'd by Martin Smallwood, ground by Cammotion. 243 heads CNC'd by TEA. BTR dbl springs. FAST 102 w/ NW 102 TB. 60lb. injectors. 25% UD pulley. A4 w/ 3400 stall TC.
Dyno runs earlier this year indicated 460 WHP / 449 WTQ at 6050rpm.
My question is: what are some better suited / higher performing heads? What are y'all running, and what are your dyno results? Are my dyno results in-line with what others are getting?
Thanks in advance,
Jon

Call Brian Tooley up and ask him. TFS heads are a great option.

What kind of dyno was it? Some read lower than others. You might be a little on the low side but you are a stalled auto, it is not going to dyno fancy numbers. You could pickup some hp with better heads I am sure, you just have to figure out money vs gains vs budget. Like mentioned, talk to someone who is really knowledgeable not just someone who thinks they are because they stayed at a Holiday Inn express last night.

I cant really say but I would have expected a bit more IMO. But who can scoff at those numbers. it also depends on the kind of dyno you were on and most importantly a timeslip is going to tell the whole story.
