1999 c5 vette starts for like 4 seconds then dies. I'm running open headers at the moment but the front o2s are in, I've deleted the rear o2s the egr and the secondary air pump on hp tuners. I'm just trying to figure this thing out

 

 

it has only ran for 2 seconds since the car has had headers on it. i disabled the vats system the o2s the column lock and the egr system in hp tuners.

 

check the ground on the drivers side of the engine block should have one eyelet and a ground strap to the frame rail , this grounds the fuel pump relay and will result in a no start if left undone, common when headers are installed to be over looked

 

it does start and run for 2 seconds

 

 

Check the water temperature sensor on the driver’s side. Had a similar issue in my camaro after header install and the water temp sensor was cracked.
