New cam installed
I just got my 02z back from getting a stage 3 cam (supossedly same as btr 3) car is completely stock but made 402hp and 371tq. Driving around town it feels like it may have lost some of its grunt. I haven't had it out on the highway to really wind it out because of wet weather but as of now I'm not really that happy with it. Shop told me headers/Intake are really needed. You think it will wake the car back up?

you greatly increased the amount of air that the motor can take in but did absolutely nothing to help it get that extra air out, so yes headers will help in a big way

My mods are 02Z BTR stg2, Jet hot coated ARH 1 3/4 LT with hi-flow catted xpipe, and tune.
Baseline of 02Z 100% stock is SAEtrq 326 @4900 SAEpwr 339 @6200rpm.
Mine are SAEtrq 370 @5100 SAEpwr 400 @6000
Stk heads (except springs, reunions, seals), Stk injectors and air box.
Plus 44 RWtrq
Plus 61 RWpwr
Not bad for mild build, Stk rpm limit.
These are RWP numbers on a SuperFlow AutoDyn eddy current chassis dyno at Tonys Corvette Shop.
So yea, you just need a good quality exhaust then you will smile again.

...and in all reality, if you're saying you got a cam and have questions regarding how it feels, "stage 3" don't mean dog ***** to nailing down specifics because "stage whatever" is just a marketing gimmick to more-easily reference a product or categorize its effect in relation to that same company's other offerings... or just to make it sound cooler. if you know (or can find) the specs, that's how we can help because those're what determines how the engine breathes. for instance, my car & truck both have BTR "Stage 3" cams, and i'm willing to bet neither's specs are similar to yours... one's a 219/224-113° & the other's a 231/248-120°.
that said, it probably feels a little doggier driving around town because your powerband most likely moved higher in the RPMs (losing some low-end torque), and that's where you spend most of your time.
