New PB!
I haven’t raced this in a couple years. Last street legal race of the year.
We conned them into a little prep.
I’m in the right lane.
Air density was 132ft. Not mineshaft, but quite good.

Hey Bob. I had to retune for LS3 vs LS2 injectors and a card style MAF vs the C5 round style. Neither made any power difference as far as I can tell.

Yeh, the 4000 was good at the track, but kinda sucked for driving. I wish I’d gone with the 3600. I drove my car almost daily until I totaled it.

The 3600 drives really nice. Has stall on demand. A little lighter throttle and it’s fine.
My data shows it flashes to 3800 or so, rides that for a bit and takes off. Pretty efficient too. Slips around 7% or so.
Took the DR’s off today and noted more wear on the inside half of the tread. Which makes sense as it’s aligned for the street, not the track. They squat and the camber goes more negative.
It would be interesting to replace control arm bushings with some good poly, and add a nice pair of DA rear shocks…..
I’ve been thinking it would be fun to bracket race this thing next year.

Definitely get some solid bushings in the rear of that thing. It is crazy the amount the arms and all flex when power is applied.

Correct! They toe in a bunch.
I’ll look for a set of control arms over the winter and get that done.

Congrats on the PB!!
I wore out my 4k convertor and replaced it with the 3,800 (yank).
I believe mine flashed at 5,200.

Hey Rob. A true OG member!
In my data logs, I see about a 3900 rpm flash. Only when it hooks of course. And, that’s in 1st gear.
When I had the LS1 I put in on the dyno one Sat when the boss was out of town, and it did just that in high gear. Right to 5200 and just sat there until the wheels caught up. So I went ahead and locked the converter so I could see fueling etc below the stall speed.
Your car was very quick if I remember correctly.
Thanks for chiming in. 😁

Well thank you Gary! Another true OG member.
I certainly remember your guys encouragement back in 2012 when I started modifying, tuning and racing it.
I was just telling Pete today how much fun it was to get it back to the track.
