Vette Doctors C5R C5 back on the Track runs a few 9.4's @ 147 NA in a tune up for the 26th
Carmen just gave me a call to let me know the car ran great and John is starting to get more comfortable in the seat. The beast ran 3 straight 9.4's at over 146 with easy launches. This was just a tune up outing for the Vette Doctors Pro 8 on June 26th at E-town NJ.
Here are few pics of the car:
I know a few folks were taking some vids. I will post them when they are available.

Re: (kumar75150)
Kumar,
John was launching it far below the optimal RPM (just trying to break it in). The best he pulled was a 1.48 which is probably about 2 tenths off from where it should be.
PS. DA was about 1800+

up for the 26th (boweryboy)
We have been doing a lot of testing with different intake manifolds. The three sheet metal ones work good but we knew there was more in this motor. So we call Jim @ kinsler & together we came up with what we are running now. We have been trying different stack lengths & still have a lot of testing to be done, This new set up makes over 650 rwhp
With 488 rear end gears the converter is still not what we want so that's more testing we have to do. Our goal is to put this car in the 8s on motor. Then we will be on to the juice.
to see how far we can push this motor.

Re: wow (STEALTH 99 C5)
I can't wait to line up with it My money's on you Paul , I hope you kick his butt . I like to root for the underdog . Up the shot , up the shot . Did you get the T-400 in yet ?
The turbo 400 is sitting awaiting a Brace from DTE. We expect the custom unit by the end of next week so I don't think it will be in the car in time for the PRO 8. I can't wait to start playing with that whole set up. We have made alot of revisions since the last go around.
See ya soon

:p:
That is one hell of an engine, with juice you will be in the 8s. Good luck.
What rear are you running a solid or the independent?
