Porting a throttle body
Quick few questions
How much Gain in HP has anyone received from this? Proven on dyno or otherwise.
Is there other options, other than porting & polising a stock one? Different manufactures ( BBK or others) that are worth are much dollars/gain?
Is this some of you have done youself and how is it done?

I am planning on adding power duct, LS6 intake, headers, and already have Blackwing on a pretty much stock '99. Corsa exhaust already on the car.
I figure the TB is a must to update, but is there anything else that should go along with these mods. MAF replaced? Is that necessary?

Thanks for the input. I think I will just save the money and port and polish my original TB. I haven't done the coolant by-pass yet either, so do this at same time? Worth it and pretty cheap anyway.
