What is a reasonable, conservative estimate for the RWHP gain for the following mods on a stock 1998 A4 2.73 Coupe:

2002 Z06 Airbox
K&N Filter
Bassani X-Pipe
Borla Stinger Cat-Back Exhaust

Thanks

I have the following mods that are similiar to yours:

twinflow air intake w/ K&N filters
power duct
Borla Stinger Cat-Back Exhaust

I just had ran my car on a Mustang dyno and I am at 290 at the rear wheels. If you add 25% to those numbers I am at about 365 at the flywheel.

Stock is 345, so a gain of about 20 at the flywheel and about 14 at the rear wheels.

I am installing 3:90 gears, LGM long tube headers and a Weiand LS6 intake manifold next week. I will have the car tuned and run on the dyno.

I hope to get 330 at the wheels and 410 at the flywheel.

Let me know if you are interested in the results.

Mustang dyno has a whole diff set of numbers--I think on a dynojet you would be noticably higher--the 390s will read about 15 rwhp lower---I would skip the weiland it will rob 10 to 30rwhp from your motor it is a heatsink--you can polish them and make them pretty but they rob power so if you are looking for an increase in power this intake will take back everything else you have done to the car--get an ls6 intake or go ahead with a 90mm FAST setup when you are ready to do the heads and cam.

I'd say 5-10.. The Z06 airlid and K&N will be the limiting factors. Though better than stock, still leaves a lot to be desired vs a good aftermarket intake system IMO. I ran the Z06 airlid and K&N, along with my Corsas, then went to a Blackwing and picked up about 18 horses after doing so.

My A4 dynoed out at 300 RWHP with the Blackwing and Corsas, when I had 2.73s. And about 281 and some change with the Z06 airlid/K&N setup..
