My 99 FRC
Hello!
I'm just wondering about my car. It has custom strait through
mufflers, k&N like filter. Z06 rims and tires. Bosh 4 plugs 40000
miles. The thing is my budy has a 1997 Viper GTS No cats no muffler
smooth tubes K&N air filters. Well we were at a car show and as we were
leaving He gets on it a few times but he never pulled on me at all then
we crossed a raillroad track and he gives it all shes got after I
crossed the tracks I was about 3 car lengths behind him. at 130 I could
swear I was gaining on him at 140 I let off because of road dust (don't
want to hurt the paint) Isn't he suspose to leave me in the dust ? I
mean he never pulled from me at all. I was no more than 2-3 car lengths
from start to 140 ? We thought he would. He was amazed at my car. He
said with a supercharger I would have passed him. And one other thing
My car gets 36-41 mpg at 60 mph and has spun the rear wheels at 60-70
mph passing ? Is this normal for a 99 FRC ? Just wondering. Thanks for
any comments.
No other Mods that I know of Im third owner . If Im on a flat road 6th gear at 60 my average is very high at 120mph for 5 miles I got 25 mpg pure stock.
