Has anyone installed on and what is the seat of the pants performance difference between stock and Vararam as low and high rpm?

At low speeds didnt notice that much, about 65mph it really comes to life. A friend and I put it on in about 2.5 hours but was a pain. Jason

it's not really all that bad to install i ran the 1/4 in 12.53 at 114.4 with varraram and Borla exhaust it really wakes the car up at any speed.

Installed mine in about 3 hours by myself. Hardest part was puting the air vents in with the fog lamps. There is one bolt inside that air inlet that is a PITA to get out and put back in, and the shroud clips around the radiator will give you a 12 pak attack.

performance wise it will definateley wake your car up. It's noticable at most any speed, but from 50-60+, hold on!!!!

I love mine. got it from exit28motorsports for $315.00 shipped back in April or May.

SOTP was instantaneous.....it states it can take up to 50 miles for the computer to re-learn the setup....

It took me 4 hrs by myself because i didn't have all the tools i needed......(cordless or air gun)

I took it for a drive and it really pulls hard when you are at triple digit speeds....very nice....

It was a pain and if I had to do it again, I would go with something easier. SOTP, yes esp when the RPMs are up and the car is breathing. I took the SC tires off and went to DRs after because my car got so squirly after. 1st thru 3rd esp. IMO only go for it!
Dave

PS JR @ exit28 I think

I gained 14 rwhp and 10 ftlbs of torque. Dyno pulls done sameday (right before and after install), so limited time for computer to "learn" the new set up. LAPD did all the work for me.

Took 2.5 hrs to install with a pal and a set of fabricated ramps.
After the initial 50 mile relearn, I noticed a difference for sure.
More pronounced at 3500 rpm + and when I had Borla put my stingers on at Carlisle, I really noticed a difference and it was a warm evening to boot.
I've done minimal mods from stock, not minimal cash of course, but the difference was worth every penny.
I bought it this Feb. and drove it on cool nights for several months.
NOW, on a cool night when I downshift and floor it, it feels like the tires are barely grabbing pavement! What a nice feeling over bone stock and even my previous 50th AE.
I've run a couple other guys at highway speeds 60+ who appeared to have bone stock set-ups and I pull away from them more than I thought I would.

Paid $50 for install. Can't tell much of a difference between the Haltec and the Vararam. Had to change because the Z06, I was installing a fuel cell in the front for the DP NOS. So I needed the Haltec for the space in the front for it. My 2000 vert was running 9.90's -10.0's with the Haltec and still runs the same with the Vararam. You make your own decision. Vararam was only $250 and the Haltec setup with the Billet chrome piece was $700.
