This will be my first time racing my Vette, as well as my first time racing since 1999 when I had my Supra. Looking for some launching tips for launching a 2001 MN6 coupe with stock runcraps. Any help would be appreciated. I don't want to look like a total idiot. A partial idiot is ok

Dont hammer the gas off the line thats for sure. I would just clean off the tires bring the rpms up to about 1800 and get a smooth clean launch. Any 60ft. under 2.0 is pretty good for those tires. Keep your shifts quick and try to stay on the gas the whole time for the best time. If you go to the corvette challenge at etown there will be numerous others who can help you.

Thanks for the tip. One more question. Competitive driving mode or traction control off?

Stay in comp mode = Traction control off + Active Handling ON
