Default Pretty exciting day today...

I drove up to Oxnard early this morning to pick up my Z from Andy at A&A Corvette. Andy finished installing his forged 348 with AFR heads, and blower cam. I also upgraded the clutch with the LUK, Gold series. My car already had a Procharger on it. We changed out the stock short block.

Anyway, the car performs really well. The car sounds near stock. The motor seems so much more balanced than the stock one.

Because of the lack of fuel on 04's, I asked him to tune it conservatively. It dyno'd out at 547 rwhp. That's plenty for now. Andy said to bring it back later if I needed more. Pulley change and tuning...

I just wanted to say thanks to Andy and crew. Andy and his crew do some great work. But, I'm sure most of you already knew that.

One more thing, I asked Andy If could sit in his new C-6. I was curious about the improvements of the interior on the C-6's. He said sure, and threw me the fob and said take it for a ride. What a cool dude. Rembember, he just installed his 427 in his new C-6. His car hauls ***... Despite his comments that it was slow. The C-6 is solid and feels tighter than the C-5. The clutch has no pedal effort at all. The new C-6 shifts so much more smoothly than the C-5. But, I'm still not ready to trade up, just yet. Up until today, I actually hadn't seen the new C-6 on the street. Now, I find myself driving a new C-6 with a 427 in it!!! What a fun day.

Anyway, it was a pretty exciting day.

Just a question about the 04's and fuel. If you wanted 600+ rwhp would you have 2 spend the 2k plus to convert to an older system? This is one of the reasons I want to do heads and cam. Anytime you want to meet up for lunch I'm buyin!!!!!!!!!! For a ride in that beast of course.

Michael,

Andy said I can get another 30 rwhp with my current fuel system. I just want to play it safe until the motor breaks in.

Give me a call sometime and we'll take a ride.

Michael,

I'm stuck on overtime for the next couple of weeks.

The second week in November would work.

Give me a call or leave your number.

It sounds like your car runs pretty well.

John,

No problem. I'm always around on the weekends. My car did run good until I blew the raer and it took the tranny with it. I havnt had my car for 1 month. I've been riding my race bike to work which isnt exactley fun. Whenever you have the time let me know. I've been trying to get a ride in a blower car for 3 months. Thanks again.
