Was able to finally get to the track after being rained out for 2 weeks. I am still on runflats, so I am pretty happy with the 60' times (My best was a 1.90). I still feel like there is a little more to squeeze out with the current configuration, but I will not know for sure until spring Anyways, on to the results...

Yep, went to the track in Muncie. The air was cool last night, about 64, but it was still really humid. It looks like the 3.42 gears, 2800 Yank, and 160 T-Stat gave me a total of about 5/10th's and 2 mph in the 1/4. I still have the stock tune other than the shift points and fan settings.

Thanks, it took a little practice, plus they do pretty good track prep there. I left them at stock pressure, did a small 3-5 sec burn out to dust them off, and launched from about 1100-1200 rpms. I will probably get some 555R's in the spring

Those 3.42s and that stall converter make a huge difference, don't they? Wait till you get some real tires on it and you'll see more than a 5/10ths gain

What kind of 60' times can I expect with some Nitto 555R's or BFG Drag T/A's? I need to stay with something that I can drive to the track and back on (appx 1 hour each way at 80mph) since I have no way of hauling another set of wheels and tires. Thanks again for the replies everyone
