Depends on the converter. My stock one liked to be flashed, my Yank SY3500 liked to be stalled. Take it to the track and find out.

I have never really seen more then possibliy a tenth difference

Teach me how to "flash." One person above said the tqc liked to "stall." What is he doing? Thanks.

Flash mean you don't five the car any gas as you wait for the tree to come down so you are leaving from idle

Stall means you bring the car up to as much rpm as it will handle while you hold the brake and wait for the green (or third yellow of course)

Stall will yield a little better reation time.

Some converters yield little better ET with stall vs flash

Default my take on this

I have found as another member above did that it did not make a lot of difference in my ET. At least on a stock converter. The reason I flash instead of load is I find the technique much easier to get consistantly low RTs. I find loading to be a little more difficult to do and I have settled on flashing as my personal favorite launching technique. I know this goes a little against the normal opinion on this because most people say better reaction times with loading and in general this is probably true. But I have found that I can control my RT better by just stomp and go, I tend to RL more often when I load. Just my two cents.
