Default Shoot the Moon

10/31/2020 is officially halloween. It also happens to be a blue moon. ( Second full moon of a month) How about getting out and shoot the moon and post your best results.
At my location the moon is full at 10:49 am and moon rise is at 6:36 pm azimuth 64° east of north. My images will be illuminated 100% + 7hrs 47min and I should have a clear sky for a few hours. Good luck.

I was thinking about doing this tonight also. If you've got an iPhone, take a look at the PhotoPills app. TONS of useful things including all the sun, moon and milky way information you'd ever need.

First image was as the moon was rising. The sun had just set so the coloration showed a lot of orange. The low altitude also showed a lot of distortion. Photo was taken at my favorite cemetery, also a clear sky spot.
Second is about an hour later at my home in French Creek valley. This image was taken through 3 trees, each with a different amount of leaves showing.

The last was from my back yard at a little after 9 PM. The Moon had cleared all the tree and was on it's was across the open sky.

I hope everyone who tried a Moon shot had some fun and captured some memories as well.
Constructive critique is welcome.
