April 2022 Photo Contest - Your 2022 Favorites....
I tried to contact MTVette a few times without a response so I hope he is well. That said after a few requests I wanted to get the contest started as soon as I could.
There really is no theme...the only caveat is the photos you submit must have been taken in 2022. So basically your best work and/or favorite photos from this year. Anything goes!
As always, post just (2) of your favorites in separate posts so we can vote on them. Here are a few of my favorites so far this year.

Engine 148 Clewiston Florida
I watched this engine get completely rebuilt from a bare frame. I hauled a lot of the pieces to different parts of the country to be rebuilt by some amazing craftsmen.
It's up and running now and giving limited tours.
Nikon D7500. Handheld. Set on Auto. I have no idea how to manually set it for a better pic. The train comes by pretty quick so i don't get much time to experiment. I took hundreds of pics I think.
Hard to get a decent pic. I'm not really good at this stuff. Lol

I voted to keep it the same, it should help beginners to strive for better photos. It's all for fun, I wish more folks from the other sub forums would realize this is here, I think we'd all appreciate some new faces.

Some feathered friends from this past weekend, a pair of Eastern Bluebirds and a pair of House Finches:
The latter are almost ghost-like in their translucent appearance.
