Shooting Artemis

but this is the vantage I had:
the top shot was on a Nikon D5300, with a 70-300 zoom, so the equivalent is 450. the bottom is same camera with a 35MM, equivalent 49MM.
the sun will be much higher Friday, launch window is noon., so glare is not an issue. I have been thinking about it, and i have a few options.
1. use my D600 with a 50mm and a Remote on a tripod, the image should be pretty much the same as above, and use the 300 on the 5300 freehand.
2. or switch them around, the 50MM on the 5300 with remote and the 600 which is full frame with the 300 lens. I lose 150 in reach, but I trust the 600 AF more.
3 pay 70 to get into KSC, which is half the distance, but has no view of the pad. I would be shooting something like this apollo shot: no guarantees of a cool US flag in the shot
another point of consideration is the built in HDR on the 5300. it shoots 2 frames to make an HDR shot. I could do that on the wide angle option, but i have no idea how the brightness of the engine plume will effect HDR
